My brother Lanny was was killed in Vietnam on May 20, 1970. He was 23-years old. I was 11.

Among my strongest memories are the times my brother would let me hang out in his room while he did homework. He’d play songs from his favorite albums. The sleeves would pile up on his bed. I loved looking at the things.

After my brother died, most of his stuff went with his wife. She remarried. We lost contact. And I thought the records were gone for good.
